To maintain continued reliability of their investment many clients fail to fully appreciate the very necessary requirement of long term, sustained, preventative maintenance. As a long established installer it is interesting to compare some customers attitudes toward secruity maintenance as opposed perhaps to office equipment, i.e. computers, photocopiers, printers etc. From the outset most companies would insist upon a maintenance contract with their equipment suppliers however, the same company would be prepared to install a CCTV, Access Control etc. at a comparable level of cost with little or no cover for maintenance.

As with any electronic device poorly maintained equipment can result in an ineffective system, very often the cost of repair exceeds preventative maintenance contract values. An effective maintenance contract is one way of ensuring that your investment is not eroded. It makes sound financial sense to invest properly the necessary funds to maintain the system in the condition and for the purpose for which it was purchased. Our highly qualified service engineers carry out preventative maintenance inspections twice a year on remote signaling systems and once a year on audible systems. They will ensure that alarm system is fully operational and advise on any alterations that may be necessary, especially in reducing the amount of false alarm signals.

If continuous false alarm signals occur, then the level of police response can be withdrawn and ultimately affect your insurance cover.

Key Holding Facilities

Key holding facilities provided by Electronic Alarms provide easy of use and peace of mind with your monitored alarm system.

When you opt for a monitored alarm system, like BT Redcare, you are required to provide key holding details. This means if the alarm is activated a key holder must be contact in order for the alarm to be reset.

This can be a great inconvenience for the key holder, as the alarm can be activated at anytime. This can be at weekend and and at anti social times. Activation of alarms are not always for break ins, false alarms can lead to key holders being contacted. Key holdings facilities can eliminate this inconvenience by answer the alarms contacts for you.
