Electronic Alarms can offer different systems to meet your remote surveillance needs, we install both PC based systems and stand-a-lone systems.

PC Based

The range of PC based CCTV systems comprise of a Video Capture Card and Software. The Video Capture Card is installed in to a spare PCI slot on any compatible PC, and the software loaded on to the PC, which must be running Windows 2000 or XP.

The PC then becomes a powerful Digital Hard Drive Recorder, that can:

- Record up to 16 CCTV cameras in real time, and at high resolution directly on to the PC's hard drive - Detect when cameras see movement and send telephone or email alerts to you when this happens - Be accessed remotely over a normal telephone line, network, or the internet.

Electronic Alarms can provide whole PC based systems, these include processor, memory, hardrive, cd writer, modem and video capture card to match the number of cameras.

We strongly recommend that for remote surveillance a broadband connection is used, for the system to have complete stability a static IP needs to be purchased or leased from your ISP. The system works with a standard modem, however the remote frame rate viewing speeds will be considerably less.

The PC based system includes a number of security features that ensure that all of images captured are only viewable to authorised persons, these include multi level password system, email and/or telephone alerts and software and hardware watchdog.

There is also the option for audio remote monitoring, each system comes with 1 audio channel. A microphone is plugged into the video card and the system instantly becomes a remote audio monitoring system.

The powerful TeleEyeIII+ video recorder works on broadband Internet economically and gives you exceptionally well real time video transmission.

Powered by its proprietary video compression and communication technologies, TeleEyeIII+ video recording transmitter provides simultaneous remote video monitoring and playback. Users can keep track of live video and play back recorded video from any remote location.

Basic Functionality The digital cameras, are attached to the TeleEyeIII+ transmitter unit. The unit is then attached to an ADSL router for broadband connectivity. The ADSL router is configured to communicate between the Internet and transmitter The ADSL router can be configured to a network if required The digital images are passed from the transmitter, to the router and then to your internet connection for remote viewing. Or to a surveillance PC on the network. The surveillance PC displays and analysis the images The images are saved in the image database on the hard disk of the of the transmitter and/or PC An alarm maybe give via a GSM SMS message, an email or by using the speaker of the PC
